My name is Eric and I am the founder of Leads & Landing Pages. Keep scrolling if you’re interesting in learning a little more about me and how I founded this company.
Houston, we have a problem!
My first ever love was outer space and my first ever “real” job was working for NASA. I had dreams of being an astronaut as a child, but unfortunately, I am colorblind so I am automatically disqualified. To be fair, I also wasn’t smart or cool enough to be an astronaut, but the colorblind excuse sits a little better with my ego! ☺
During my time at NASA, I was awarded Johnson Space Center’s Outstanding Intern Award which was one of my prouder achievements to date.
And this is me after landing the Space Shuttle in the cockpit of the astronaut flight simulator!
I was given a full-time offer at NASA but I turned down the job for two reasons…
I was a desperately broke college graduate and a top tier management consulting firm offered my 2.5x the salary
I realized that things at NASA actually moved very slowly and in order to make a bigger difference in the world, I wanted to learn more about business.

Management Consulting
I will be brief here because I want to get to the marketing part of my life ASAP.
After NASA I moved onto management consulting.
Management consulting wasn’t a terrible gig, but I worked 70 hour weeks for 2 years and the biggest lesson I learned was that this was not the life for me.
I left that job to work for a small marketing company in Austin where I could work from home.
This was my badge from my consulting days! Most of my days in consulting were spent helping the University of California System implement ERP systems.
Marketing 2015-Present
On to the good stuff… marketing!
While working for the small marketing company in Austin, I quickly realized that I needed to teach myself a high valuable skill.
I was drawn to paid traffic because I am naturally very good with numbers & data.
I also realized that people who were REALLY good at this could literally transform a business overnight by bringing in loads of leads/customers for a business.
I wanted that super power, so I started teaching myself Google AdWords.
While teaching myself AdWords, I connected with one of my closest friends from college who owned a small digital marketing agency called Supreme Optimization.
He offered to bring me on full-time if I would help him build out his paid advertising department.
I agreed and since I started working with Supreme we have taken the department from 10 accounts to 40 accounts in just 3 years.
I am still working full-time for Supreme today and I am super fulfilled. I manage a team of 7 people with $4,000,000 in yearly ad spend managed.

Why I founded Leads & Landing Pages
So if life is so great at Supreme, then why start Leads & Landing Pages?
I wouldn’t say I really wanted to. I just sort of happened.
As soon as my friends and network found out I had a “traffic superpower” I was doing marketing consulting on the nights and weekends almost regularly.
I started getting really good results for clients and they kept bringing me more and more business.
Leads and Landing Pages is my passion project and I only work with companies that are ethical, collaborative, and fun to work with.

My Mentors & Continued Education
Education is something that is super important to me.
The thing about Google, Facebook and LinkedIn is the platforms are CONSTANTLY changing. You have to be an eternal student to keep up.
I have been extremely lucky to have some amazing mentors & teachers and I want to give a quick shout out to 3 of them here.
LinkedIn Learning
If you know anything about LinkedIn Paid Advertising then you know AJ Wilcox.
He is THE authority on LinkedIn marketing.
His agency is the single largest spender on LinkedIn and he produces amazing content.
I can say with confidence that I have listened to every single podcast, YouTube video, and course AJ has created.
I have also had private coaching by AJ which proved to be extremely valuable.
AJ not only knows LinkedIn better than anybody in the world but he is also a saint of a human being. One of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
Thanks to AJ, I have been able to get incredible results for all of my clients running LinkedIn ads.
I also just recently released a course for AdSkills.com where I teach others all of my secret tricks for effective LinkedIn marketing.

AdWords and Facebook
I had a lot of Google and Facebook experience on my own. I have actually been running Facebook ads since 2014 and Google Ads since 2015.
The AdSkills community really took my AdWords and Facebook knowledge to the next level.
Specifically Justin Brooke and John Belcher have provided me incredible guidance both through in person coaching, their private pro league AdSkills community, and through all of their courses.
I am super grateful to call Justin and John friends and mentors.
They have taught me a TON about traffic and conversion and they are a huge reason why I have had incredible success with helping clients with their paid traffic campaigns.

If I am not working, I am usually exercising, watching sports (Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks or Milwaukee Brewers), playing video games, board games or disc golfing.
